Looking back, this place was unbearable. The heat inside the unit during summer made it dangerous to stay there in the daytime, especially since the AC was broken and the landlord and agent refused to fix it. Being on the top floor with no shade meant it baked in the sun all day. Families with children should avoid it entirely.
The ventilation noise from the cafes downstairs was another constant issue. Their kitchen ducts ran past the unit and got loud enough to wake me up every morning around 5am.
On top of that, nothing in the apartment had ever been updated. The kitchen, bathrooms, lighting and even the stained carpet were all original. The ugly blue and green paint, broken windows and blinds made it worse. Despite this, they still charged a premium rent. I would never recommend this place.
