We lived in this property for three years and honestly, it was like living in a run-down crack house. Maintenance was non-existent. None of the wall-mounted air conditioning units could be used without flooding the property, and no one ever came to fix them despite repeated requests.
Eventually, we were evicted because our two approved dogs dug some holes in the yard — that was apparently the final straw for the landlord. The agency managing the property was unbelievably petty and vindictive. After we moved 11 hours away, they charged us $250 to rehang curtains that had already been dry-cleaned and returned to the agency. Obviously we couldn’t hang them ourselves from that far away, but they didn’t care.
We received none of our bond back and were also hit with a $700 fee for yard work that we’re fairly certain was never actually carried out. The entire experience was hostile, mismanaged, and frankly unprofessional.
