The landlord was intrusive, abusive, and regularly entered the property without notice. Repairs were either ignored or done dangerously, and the house was in severe disrepair — caving bathroom floor, water leaks, mould, electrical hazards, and structural damage. Rodents, crumbling walls, and exposed wiring were all ongoing problems. When we reported issues, we were blamed or threatened. We were also charged excessive garden fees for minimal work, and the landlord frequently turned up with a friend unannounced. It was one of the most stressful tenancies I have ever experienced — unsafe, unhygienic, and run illegally. Avoid at all costs.
