This review relates mostly to the owners rather than the agencies. During our two year tenancy they went through three different agents. The owners refused to replace a dangerous hot water service because it still worked, would not repair the TV antenna and would not install flyscreens despite ongoing mould issues.
They purchased the property without inspecting it in person and later attempted to claim money for repainting and carpet replacement. We scrubbed the walls twice, yet the landlord insisted it was not good enough despite rarely attending the property. They also attempted to blame us for rat and possum infestations that neighbours confirmed existed before we moved in.
Maintenance was consistently delayed or avoided, and responsibility was frequently shifted. The final agent was reasonable to deal with, but overall the ownership experience was extremely frustrating and stressful. Prospective tenants should be cautious.
