No maintenance was ever undertaken by the landlord. Black mould spread through the bathroom, into the walls of bedrooms, and in the kitchen. The reverse cycle air conditioner was badly installed and never worked, and the landlord refused to fix it – I had to use my own window units instead. Being on a cattle station, vermin issues were constant. On top of this, tenants had to pay for all water even though it was tank water and the lease said the landlord was responsible. Completely neglected and unsafe rental.
