We rented this apartment for one year after being led to believe it would be a long-term tenancy, only to be terminated at the end of the fixed term. The building suffers from serious water and structural damage — constant leaks, poor waterproofing, and recurring black mould infestations. It took nearly six months and dozens of emails to get one shower leak repaired, and a second mould outbreak was never resolved. The air conditioning unit leaked continuously onto the balcony, making it unsafe to use. My Property Epping, a family-run agency, were unprofessional and unresponsive. Every member gave different information, ignored maintenance issues, and often lied despite written evidence. The property was filthy at move-in, yet they later tried to blame us for pre-existing damage. After refusing to negotiate rent or resolve ongoing issues, they terminated the lease under the pretext of needing vacant possession — then immediately relisted it for rent. They withheld our bond until it was released automatically by RBO. We spent months chasing basic repairs and fair treatment. Avoid this agency at all costs — document everything if you must deal with them.
