The house is generally comfortable, with working locks, fly screens and air conditioning. However, the water tank leaks and doesn’t work, the downpipes overflow and the grass grows rapidly as a result. The range hood doesn’t function, the retaining wall is collapsing, and the carpets are old and smelly, giving off an abandoned-house odour. The property wasn’t clean on move-in and had a serious insect infestation. The neighbours are also very loud.
