Solid old house with amazing views but owned by overseas investors only interested in when to knock it down. They evicted my family after demanding a 40 percent rent increase, even though we were already paying above market. After we left, it was rented for $200 a week less than what we paid. Not a misprint.
The house is falling apart. Gutters are blocked and the landlord refused to clear them. The kitchen faces west, has no window that opens, and no exhaust fan. We called it the sauna. Despite all that we actually liked the place and would’ve happily stayed, but the landlord was too greedy. They also sacked the original agent and evicted us without cause while we were on a periodic lease. Apparently the agent wasn’t doing their job, meaning not squeezing enough rent out of us. You’ve been warned.
