I remember this place for its amazing views and solid old structure, but the owners were overseas investors only focused on redevelopment. They tried to increase the rent by forty percent even though we were already paying above the market rate. When we left, it was rented again for two hundred dollars less per week. The house itself was neglected, the gutters were blocked, and the kitchen had no opening window or exhaust fan which made it feel like a sauna. Despite all that, we liked living there and would have stayed if things had been managed properly. The landlord replaced the original agent when we were evicted without cause, claiming the old ones were not doing their job. It was frustrating and disappointing for everyone involved.
