We lived in this place for nearly five years and had issues from the very beginning. The carpet had been poorly installed, and there was a massive black mould problem that was never addressed. The owner refused to fix anything properly, no matter how many times it was raised. When it came time to move out, they tried to keep the entire bond by submitting dodgy invoices that were clearly made up. We challenged it and ended up winning, but it felt like their goal the whole time was to use our bond money to cover repairs they never planned to do themselves. The real estate agent managing the place was also a nightmare, never helpful and often dismissive. It was an exhausting experience dealing with both the owner and the agent.
